The Morning Ritual
Most things added to a morning eventually fall away. The ones that stay are the ones that fit without friction.
Why a morning tonic at all
In Korean clinical tradition, herbal preparations are usually taken as liquids, and tonics are commonly prescribed in the morning. That timing is centuries old and it is the convention Dr. Chun worked within for thirty-nine years of practice.
We are not going to dress that up in physiology. It is what the tradition does, and it is why the product is built around a morning rather than an afternoon.
The 80mL format
A traditional decoction is a slow thing. Herbs are simmered down over hours, strained, and taken as a liquid. It is a good way to take herbs and a poor fit for a Tuesday.
GINSIX Morning Ritual is that preparation, already done. Eighty millilitres in a single pouch. No blender, no measuring, no fifteen minutes of preparation. You take it and you move on. That is the entire design brief.
Liquid also reflects how these formulas have been given in the hanbang tradition for centuries. The compounds are already in solution rather than packed into a capsule.
Where it sits in a morning
It does not ask you to rearrange anything. Some people take it before coffee, some with it, some before eating, which follows the more traditional practice. There is no wrong order.
The point of eighty millilitres is that it does not require a new habit. It fits a gap that already exists.
What is in it
Six-year ginseng grown on Ganghwa Island, with ginger, kudzu, licorice, tangerine peel and malt. The same botanicals Dr. Chun worked with in clinic. No artificial additives and no preservatives.
The ritual part
There is a plain version of this. You take the tonic and get on with your day.
There is also a version where taking a formula built by a clinician across four decades, from a root grown six years on an island known for it since the Joseon dynasty, is a small deliberate thing you do for yourself before the day starts.
Neither is wrong. The ritual is not required. It is available.
GINSIX Morning Ritual is an 80mL Korean herbal tonic, sold in three, six and twelve pack. More on the formulator on the About page.
GINSIX is a herbal tonic, not a medicine. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking prescription medication, or managing a health condition, speak to a clinician before adding any herbal product to your routine.
